Do I need experience?

Experience is not required.
In fact, some would say that having no experience is a benefit. Every student brings something to the club, whether it be their past martial art experience or not.
The class is not divided by grade so students will train with others of the same level of experience and those with a lot more also.
Ninjutsu is suits both genders and we teach from approx ten years old upwards. Due to the approach that Ninjutsu takes, it is suitable for those who are less physically able.
Is it physically demanding?

It can be. Students choose to train at different levels or intensities.
Students are encouraged to challenge themselves, but not in a sporting fashion, rather from the point of view of perseverence. Over time students learn to understand pain and its application or how to resist it. As people choose to train "harder" they are likely to experience a greater degree of pain and small injutries - bruises, sore joints etc. This aspect of training is not suitable or desirable for all and this is clearly recognised within the club.
